White Sands Cove Resort is located only a quarter mile from the second largest barrier reef in the world. The Resort
The perfect setting for your tropical escape awaits you on the tranquil island of Ambergris Caye. This is a family-owned resort with 18 condominiums consisting of six two-bedroom units and 12 one-bedroom units. These include Sea Front units that are directly on the beach - just 15 steps from the water’s edge, Sea View units that are one building back from the water’s edge (about 100 steps from the sea) and provide excellent panoramic views of the Caribbean and the resort’s private pool and dock, and Sea View/Lagoon View units which provide a lot of privacy and beautiful views of the lagoon.
Guests of White Sands Cove Resort will enjoy luxurious condominium accommodations each with stunning views, air conditioning, ceiling fans, 60-channel satellite television and daily housekeeping service. The suites are spacious and of exceptional quality with all the comforts of home: a fully-equipped kitchen, ample dining area, quality furnishings and decorative imports throughout, tile surfaces everywhere, and walls of windows facing the Caribbean. Several gourmet and casual restaurants are located within beach-walking distance and others are just a bike ride or golf cart ride away. For a small fee the resort has a portable gas grill for guest use.

Allow White Sands Cove Resort to coordinate your island and mainland activities at their tour desk, conveniently located in the resort’s office. With over 30 tours and excursions to choose from, they will recommend the best trips and use the best guides Belize has to offer to help you fully enjoy your stay. With so many one-of-a-kind attractions like diving, cave tubing, Mayan ruin tours, jungle walks and zip line tours, boat rides down inland rivers, bird-watching, fishing trips, swimming with sharks and the resort spa, your only problem will be fitting it all in during your limited time in Belize.
Dive Shop
White Sands Cove has its own dive shop and the most wonderful team of divers, Belize Ocean Divers. Dive and snorkel trips are run four times daily, at 9:30am, 10:30am, 11:00am, 1:30pm and night diving at 5:00pm. This is a great group of guys, (six dive masters and three boat captains) who have a lot of fun and one of the best safety records on the island. In addition to diving and snorkeling, the resort also offers courses: full certifications and referral courses beginning in the pool before heading right out to the reef on your first day! This is one of the few PADI Gold Palm certified dive shops on the island and they are certified nitrox divers. The price of a two-tank dive is only $55.00 USD, includes equipment, and it lasts about 2.5 hours. If you do more than five dives with them, the price goes down to $50.00 USD per two-tank dive.
Payments Accepted
Reservation Policy
All reservations require a 50% deposit upon booking. If the reservation is made within 30 days of the occupancy date, full payment is due at the time of booking. Payment is due in full 30 days prior to arrival on all reservations. A room tax of 9% is not included in the nightly rates and will be due upon check-in either in U.S. Dollars or traveler’s checks.
Credit cards will be charged in Belize dollars and exchange rates do fluctuate. Your credit card company may bill you for an additional charge. For example, Visa International charges 1% of the total amount of the charge. Your local bank may also add a service charge and/or a charge for the currency exchange.
Prices are based on double occupancy for each bedroom. One additional occupant is allowed per unit at a charge of $20 extra per night for adults above 18 and $10 extra per night for teenagers 13-18. Children 12 and under are free. (All units have futons in the living room that fold down to full-size beds for additional occupants, however, please note that bathrooms can only be accessed through bedrooms.)
Cancellation Policy
White Sands Cove Resort requires at least 30 days notice in order to issue a full refund, less a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations on or after 29 days prior to arrival date will not be refunded. If you need to postpone your trip due to emergency circumstances, every effort will be made to accommodate you at a future timeframe.
